Completed and given away

So far, this one's pretty simple. It's just a way for me to play around with a lot of the scraps I have on-hand.  The idea is to use the Drunkard's Path templates that Jeff gave me for my birthday, and play with color.  It's going to be a child's quilt, simple and bright.  I'm turning the wedge pieces inward to create circles.  Should be six columns wide; each column will be its own color scheme.  I'll fade from dark-interior / light-exterior on one side to the opposite (light-interior / dark exterior) on the other.

Colors are based on the scrap I had lying around:  pinky-purply, red, blue, green, brown, and black.

I have an idea of who it might be for, but it's early yet. We'll see. Yep, that's who I thought.

Oh, the name? The circles and intense colors reminded me of the colored gels used in stage lighting.

Tidbit from later: the scraps left over from cutting the backgrounds went on to make Das Blinkenlights.
